Meticulous

Continued from part IV.

Tuesday, the 16th of Januari 2007, she came back and I would finally execute my plan. A plan I had drawn some time before. A crazy plan. A meticulous plan. A plan that is probably the beginning of something bound to fail but this year I’m letting go of my “trying is the first step towards failure” motto which has not brought me very much last few years.

The Sunday before we (me and my brother) were (as usual) at the Efteling and I finally bought that plush lynx that I had my eyes on for a few weeks now. This time however I was ready to give it to her. My plan was to leave it (wrapped) on her desk together with little note on a nice card.

The next day my brother and I went to our parents and after a few hours of digging I was able to find a nice enough card (japanese drawing of sparrows on a rice weed) in my mom’s card collection. The cards fits me pretty well because I’m both a bird (I especially like sparrows because they are becoming somewhat endangered nowadays) and Japanese freak. After finding a reasonable envelope in the same box I was ready to fail.
